Christchurch s biggest outdoor music festival, featuring Kiwi artists Scribe and P-Money, will go ahead this weekend.
The Electric Avenue Music Festival at Hagley Park has been sold out for a month with 25,000 people expected on Saturday.
All of the acts on the day are Kiwis after three Australian performers, Tash Sultana, Ocean Alley and Bootleg Rascal, were unable to attend due to Covid-19.

American Electric Power Co Inc Q4 adjusted earnings Beat Estimates
COLUMBUS (dpa-AFX) - American Electric Power Co Inc (AEP) reported earnings for its fourth quarter that climbed from the same period last year.
The company s bottom line came in at $435.5 million, or $0.88 per share. This compares with $153.5 million, or $0.31 per share, in last year s fourth quarter.
Excluding items, American Electric Power Co Inc reported adjusted earnings of $432.7 million or $0.87 per share for the period.
Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.79 per share, according to figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts estimates typically exclude special items.
